The largest criticism of Azealia Banks is that she is in the headlines for drama more than she is for releasing music. Not even a day after she was critical of Nick Cannon’s popular MTV show Wild ‘N Out, Banks is back in the headlines again for some less than flattering words about daytime talk show host Wendy Williams.
Wendy Williams discussed the event on Wild ‘N Out during her show today and it received a response from Banks who took to her Instagram stating that she would be in favor of seeing the host “die on air.”
Seemingly hurt by Wendy’s comments, Banks lashed out at the talk show host and referenced the fainting incident from earlier this year, but referred to it as a stroke.
“Omg can Wendy Williams have another stroke on TV and finally drop dead?” Banks wrote. “I would love to see her die on air.”
After revealing that she felt attacked during her Wild ‘N Out visit, Banks revealed that she broke down into tears and that she will be pushing her album back after the incident. Some groups of the Hip-Hop community across the web wish that Banks would go ahead with the release of her album, while some others were critical of attempting to point the fingers at the MTV crew over jokes, while she often takes aim at her peers.
