Faith Evans wedded Notorious B.I.G. in 1994, however, you wouldn’t know it in light of her ongoing marriage permit. It doesn’t detail her marriage to the Brooklyn rapper, yet the singer is reprimanding the court for the mistake.
TMZ acquired a duplicate of her marriage permit docs and in it she records her marriage to Stevie J as marriage no. 2. The record references her separation from Todd Russaw in 2012, and that is the other marriage.
Faith and Biggie, label mates with Bad Boy Records, got married back in August of 1994 within days of meeting each other. They separated shortly before his 1997 murder.
Concerning why the document appears to disregard the Biggie association, Faith reveals to TMZ that the agent at the marriage permit authority messed up. She insists that she told the agent the marriage with Stevie was her third.
Evans includes, “Biggie was my first true love, he will always be acknowledged as such. Everyone knows he was my husband.”
Faith and Stevie got hitched in their Vegas hotel room a week ago. The mystery wedding, blindsided family and loved ones, furthermore, they were not upbeat about it.
