Beyonce is currently on tour with JAY-Z for their On the Run II Tour and performing cuts from their Everything is Love album but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have her eyes set for the next project. Recently there was news that Mrs. Carter was looking to shoot in the Colosseum in Rome and according to The Sun, the video is for her seventh solo studio album, which will be released through Netflix.
The UK outlet states a source revealed Beyonce has been keeping the filming of a few clips for the forthcoming visual album lowkey and is looking to bring the experience to everyone’s living room courtesy of everyone’s favorite movie and TV show streaming service.
“Beyonce has been hard at work on her next solo album and it is shaping up well,” the source said. “She wants it to be even more ground-breaking and visually impressive than Lemonade, which is why she is scouting out locations which will really wow people.”
The source also revealed Bey’s team is currently negotiating with Netflix and it’s not the first time the streaming giant attempted to have a Beyonce visual album. When Lemonade was nearing release, Netflix wished to host the finished product but an agreement with HBO and TIDAL didn’t allow for the deal to occur.
For now, Everything is Love will hold down your ears and be sure to catch Beyonce and JAY-Z on tour as it arrives stateside next week.
