Kyle dropped his album This Light of Mine earlier this year and is ready to hit fans with another drop in the form of his new Netflix film, The After Party. The film will be Hip-Hop based and will bring in Teyana Taylor, Wiz Khalifa and more as co-stars. Kyle hopped on Instagram to share the promo poster for the film and stated that it will premiere on Netflix on August 24th.
“So proud/excited/emotional/overjoyed to announce the release date for my very first movie THE AFTER PARTY coming to Netflix AUG 24th!!!,” wrote Kyle. “Acting is something i’ve wanted to explore and dive into since I was a little kid watching Will Smith in the theater thinking to myself wow I want to do that one day. Thank you to everyone who made this possible.”
The film tells the story of an aspiring rapper who gets fame but not for his skills. The film will also bring Jadakiss, French Montana, Pusha T among others to Netflix. Check out the announcement from Kyle below.
