“Demi is recovering and her loved ones are so incredibly thankful she has pulled through. They know how lucky she is to be alive and are relieved she’s getting another chance,” a source said to Entertainment Tonight. “Her family is going to do everything in their power to help get Demi back on track and are making plans to get her straight into rehab. She is a fighter and has beat this in the past, so they know she can live a clean and sober life again. Her mother is by her side.”

Lovato entered rehab once before in January 2011 when she was 18 as she was self-medicating with cocaine and alcohol while she battled with bulimia. Back in March Lovato celebrated six years of sobriety and relapsed recently, which she revealed in her song “Sober.”

The report also states those who participated with Lovato “are now nowhere to be seen.” The singer was also believed to be dating someone that was not approved of by her family and was also not partying alone. Those who partied with her were in favor of her drug habit.

Lovato is said to be “awake and responsive” after her hospitalization.

As expected, Lovato’s concert for Kids Help Phone in Toronto with Jason Mraz has been cancelled. With the announcement, Mraz tweeted “We wish her good health & recovery.”
