As the unfortunate news of battle rap sensation Tsu Surf being shot in his hometown of Newark, New Jersey spreads across the Internet, it is being reported that the URL favorite isn’t doing well after undergoing an emergency surgery following the shooting.
According to a tweet from one of his close associates, Surf “is not in good shape”, but is apparently stabilizing.

According to witnesses, a lone gunman fired multiple shots at Surf before running from the scene.
Sources say the hit could be gang-related due the nature of the shooting, along with Tsu’s close affiliation with the Crips gang.
