Cardi B fans received some devastating news last night. The New York superstar announced that she is dropping out of Bruno Mars’ 24K Magic Tour in the upcoming Fall. The Invasion of Privacy femcee recently gave birth to her first child, Kulture Kiara Cephus on July 11. She hopes that fans will understand that her health and family comes first. “I thought after giving birth to my daughter that 6 weeks would be enough time for me to recover mentally and physically. I also thought I’d be able to bring her with me on tour, but I think I underestimated this whole mommy thing.” Peep Cardi’s Instagram post below.

Bardi is a new mother and needs to cater and nurture those need as much as possible. In the end, she thanked Bruno Mars for understanding. Upon the initial announcement of the tour, fans went crazy. The two artists collaborated on the remix to “Finesse.” The song peaked at number 3 on the Hot 100 charts; not to mention a galvanizing Grammy Award Performance during Cardi B’s Grammy night debut.

The tour would have only added to Cardi B’s list of wins so far in her career, but family and health come first, period.

The 24K Magic Tour is set to pop off in Denver, CO in September. There is no word from Bruno Mars on a potential replacement for Bardi. We are sure he will find a way to compensate. Fans expressed gratitude for Cardi decision. She continues to be honest and authentic and it was ultimately the right decision. Although the culture needs the superstar artist, Kulture needs her mother more.
