The six-part series, which is executive produced by Jay-Z and Michael Gasparro, was introduced with the first episode being shown and followed with an emotional Q&A with the audience both about the project and how young, Black boys and girls can prepare themselves for a society where racial injustice is so candid.

Foxx, who attended the event without any press, took a photo with Trayvon’s parents alongside a poster for the upcoming documentary. The actor has been a longtime supporter of Trayvon and his family, and has vowed to keep the memory of the boy alive.
