LeBron James’ ‘Equality’ Nikes to be Included in Smithsonian

It has been a big week for LeBron James. After opening his I Promise school, the King of the Court will have his presence brought to the Smithsonian National Museum of African American history and Culture. The museum will place his Nike LeBron 15 “Equality” on display.

The pair of sneakers, one white shoe, one black shoe, were originally worn during a game against the Washington Wizards and LeBron revealed online those who purchased the shoe would be supporting the museum.

The reveal of LeBron’s inclusion occured during an event that brought 59 children from across the country to an event that promoted Equality. LeBron appeared via video that can be seen below.
