Back in March, Jhene Aiko released her Slauson Hills edition of Never Call Me featuring Kurupt. The Never Call Me video has garnered over 18 million views and it features the majority of Los Angeles natives who are dominating the entertainment industry including Nipsey Hussle, Lauren London, Dom Kennedy, and Jhene’s sister, Mila J.

Now more than five months later, and two days before the release of YG’s third studio album, Stay Dangerous, Jhene has released an official remix to Never Call Me featuring her labelmate YG. YG adds his gangsta persona to the track as he raps about how there’s nothing he won’t do for Jhene no matter how dangerous or outrageous.

Continuing the trend of her original release of the song, Jhene took to Instagram to announce the remix’s release by posting hometown staples such as Tam’s Burgers and the Slauson Supermall. Jhene uses a picture of her hometown neighborhood cross streets, Rosekrans and Slauson Ave, as the cover art for the Never Call Me Remix.
