Alex Jones has made a career out of pushing hate speech on through almost all the media platforms available for the last few years. In fact, his racist and provocative commentary has added gasoline to the flame of Obama backlash that has this country all on fire today. Yup, he helped Trump get elected by using his platform to mobilize that thread of political alt-right maniacs that still lives in the fabric of this country.

Over the weekend, Apple removed more than 80% of his content off of their iTunes and Podcasts apps for “violating its hate speech” guidelines. Show among those taken down from these platforms were two of his most popular tools of bigotry (disguised as news), The Alex Jones Show and War Room. This comes immediately after Facebook and Spotify proactively deaded those shows last week. He is clearly loosing the battle in his infowars.

According to a statement that spokesperson for Apple gave to Buzzfeed News, which first reported the removal, “Apple does not tolerate hate speech, and we have clear guidelines that creators and developers must follow to ensure we provide a safe environment for all of our users. Podcasts that violate these guidelines are removed from our directory making them no longer searchable or available for download or streaming. We believe in representing a wide range of views, so long as people are respectful to those with differing opinions.”

Best believe that just because he got taken off these major platforms, he is not out of the game. Rumors have it, he is already working on something big to replace these three and many believe it this will infuriate enough racists folk that he will appear to be bigger than ever.
