A sweet moment between a Walmart worker and a disabled client is becoming a viral sensation.
Angela Peters, who has cerebral paralysis, an innate issue that can cause automatic developments or tremors of arms, hands, legs, and feet, was out shopping at the Walmart Supercenter in Burton, Mich. when she chose to get a nail trim at the nail salon Da-Vi Nails inside the supercenter.
Be that as it may, because of Peters’ condition, the nail technician denied her services because âshe moves too much,â according to Tasia Smith’s Facebook post, which has been shared over 5,000 times.
Luckily for Peters, Ebony Harris, a worker at Walmart, wanted to make her day special and gave her the manicure herself.
âI just wanted to make her day special. I didnât really want her day to be ruined. Thatâs why I did it,â Harris told a local news station. âAnd plus sheâs a sweetie,â she added.
Harris said she knew Peters since Peters works in the area and regularly shops at the Walmart.
They bought a bottle of nail polish and set up a DIY nail salon at one of the tables inside of the shopping center. Harris is being praised for her good deed.
âA nice act of kindness,â Deb Wright commented on the Facebook post.
âI got goosebumps looking at these pics! Thank you Ebony for your kindness and patience and thank you Tasia for capturing such beautiful photos and spreading awareness! May God bless you all.â Lauralee Feldman wrote.
Despite the fact that Harris was cheerful to help, she says neither she nor Peters needs to hammer Da-Vi Nails.
âWeâre not trying to bash the nail salon, weâre not trying to make them lose customers, make them look bad,â Harris said, Yahoo Lifestyle reported. âBut maybe, spread awareness that no matter the person, who they are, what color they are, disability, whatever, theyâre people too. Sheâs a girly girl. Sheâs just like you, me, Tasia, my daughter, anybody. She wants to look pretty, you know, and so why canât she?â
