According to published reports, on Tuesday (Aug 14), 50 and Tekashi were filming a music video for their song “Get The Strap” in Brooklyn with Uncle Murda and Casanova when someone in a white Porsche with New Jersey license plates opened fire, shooting off at least 11 shots from a 9 mm semi-automatic weapon.

Despite the attempt, no one was hit but police believe that the shooter was aiming for one of the rappers on set, despite Tekashi’s claim that no one specifically was a target.

In footage from the video shoot, 6ix9ine can be seen hanging out the window of an NYPD car, as the automobile hits donuts with blue smoke coming out of the rims. “Play me like I’m pussy, I’m gon’ pull up and bang bang,” 50 Cent can be heard rapping in a snippet of the song.

Despite the lack of details surrounding the song being divulged, 50 has created quite a buzz online with the now infamous hashtag #GetTheStrap. Although Casanova, Uncle Murda, 50 Cent and Tekashi have yet to officially announce the single or it’s release, producer Blanco revealed that the full single will be heard on the eighth episode of STARZ hit series Power scheduled to air on August 26.

Cops are reviewing surveillance video, but so far no one has been taken into custody.
