Today on The Source Report, our correspondent Zae Diggs (no relation to Taye Diggs) breaks down what’s going on in Hip-Hop.
Everybody knows that Nicki Minaj is currently doing her press for her new Queen album. And with the release of this new project, she in making amends with many that she has fallen out with over the years and at the same time adding gas to the flames some relationships that she set on fire to recently.
She squashed beef with Hot 97 radio personality and DJ, Funkmaster Flex and gave him an interview that people are still talking about. She also gave one hell of an interview to Stephen Colbert. Both interviews focused heavily on the talk of the town: Her new song, “Barbie Dreams.” While it seems hearts and sunflowers, the release of the new album has sparked a war of words between exes, Nicki Minaj and her former boyfriend, reality star/rapper Safaree. Safaree now makes a new claim that the Queen femcee stabbed him in the past (while they were boo’d up) and he had to lie to the cops so that she wouldn’t go to jail. Nicki must not have like that because she then shared that he and Tyga went to the same hairline doctor and that her ex man’s (who was not mentioned in “Barbie Dreams”) hairline fell out because God simply doesn’t like ugly.
Since then, Safaree claims that this morning he woke up to a deal for a book deal worth 500k and a endorsement deal for hairline for men. God is Good all the time! Hopefully these two can be cordial and continue to get money !
Now, somebody who know about getting to the bag is businessman, 50 Cent. He got money with the Vitamin Water brand, followed by the French vodka EFFEN and now the Get Rich or Die Tryin rapper is launching his own line of champagne, Le Chemin du Roi. 50 announced the coming of the drink back in April on Instagram. 50 Cent’s new champagne, is set to launch on August 17 in Atlantic City at the Ocean Resort Casino where the Power star is set to make an appearance at the HQ2 nightclub.
