NFL franchises are handing out bags left and right. First Odell Beckham Jr. because the highest paid wide receiver in history, followed by Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers becoming the highest paid player ever. Adding to the list of the new deals is Los Angeles Rams defensive lineman Aaron Donald who inked a six-year $134 million deal.
Adam Schefter of ESPN reports $87 million of Donald’s deal is guaranteed. Aaron Donald will be a member of the Rams for the next seven seasons and is scheduled to take on the cross California Oakland Raiders in the opener of Monday Night Football next week.
Aaron Donald anchors the Los Angeles Rams defense that is believed to be one, if not the most, dominant that will take the field this season.

Even with the record-breaking deal, Aaron Donald’s salary-cap number for the 2018 season rises from $6.892 million to $8.892 million. Rams get their man without suffocating impact to their salary cap this season.
