In one of his most recent posts on Instagram, comedian Mike Epps posted a picture of him standing next to a poster of legendary comic Richard Pryor. The All About The Benjamins actor bears a strikingly similar resemblance to possibly the funniest man of all time.
The image, which was from Pryor’s 1977 silver screen smash Which Way Is Up?, looks just like Epps’ with his new barefaced look, sans mustache and goatee.
Eddie Murphy was originally attached to play Pryor, but the producers decided that Murphy’s fame as a stand-up comedian and movie star would be distracting to audiences. Epps previously played Pryor in the 2016’s Nina, a biopic about songstress and social activist Nina Simone.
The biopic, entitled Is It Something I Said?, is slated for theaters early 2019.
