Sony’s Colombia Pictures has confirmed that they are still seeking a director to quarterback the film about one of Hip Hop’s most memorable personalities, but it has been greenlighted and RZA will be taking on the production of his cousin’s biopic.

With both top notches acting and directing under his belt including silver screen smashes The Man With The Iron Fists and American Gangster respectively, RZA has proven to be more than qualified to produce a piece of Hip Hop history that can stand beside the likes of Straight Outta Compton, Roxanne Roxanne, All Eyez On Me and others.
