The revival of N.E.R.D late last year brought us not only new music but also a sea of dope collaborative opportunities, which we first got a taste of through a BBC capsule collection earlier this summer. While that set was exclusive to the London store, the latest collab brings it back to the flagship location in New York City, with Pharrell’s adidas NMD Hu silhouette sitting at the center of attention.
Coming in a vibrant green and yellow color theme, the new NMD Hu Trail features branding from both the Three Stripes and the trio. While the green hue takes over majority of the upper and the innovative lacing system, the yellow is used sparingly but noticeably on the sole and “N*E*R*D” branding that extends vertically down the middle of the shoe. Unfortunately, this was a super limited release that, for now, is only here for your viewing pleasure. As with anything in the sneaker world though, nothing is set in stone and these could get a general release anytime in the near future. Fingers crossed!
Those lucky enough to get their hands on the N.E.R.D x adidas NMD Hu had to purchase through the Frenzy app today, with winners being able to pick up their pairs beginning tomorrow (September 12) and Thursday (September 13). Check out more pics of the colorway below:
