Shane Powers, who built a close relationship with the emcee L.A. – went on his shared some memories he had with Mac on his podcast, The Shane Show. Powers praised Mac’s ability, personality and his battle with substance abuse.

In the wake of his fatal overdose, Internet trolls began blaming his ex-girlfriend for his overdose, which led her to turn off her comments on Instagram, but Shane assured that the singer had nothing to do with and she only wanted to help.

Shane claims that the singer was ready to “go to the wall” for Mac Miller and knows that she’s devastated by his untimely death.
