The Carhartt WIP crew has been going extra hard this summer, starting from a capsule drop with Heron Preston in July to releasing both men’s and women’s offerings for the fall 2018 season just last month. Now, the brand is bringing its signature workwear quality to the feet of Converse, resulting in a fresh footwear collection that’s built for the season ahead.

The new Converse x Carhartt WIP One Star set gives us three autumn-inspired colorways — olive, cream and black are your options — constructed from the ever-sturdy Cordura® fabric. The low-top build makes it the perfect transitional shoe as you shift from summer to fall, especially for the days when its sunny but windy or humid but cloudy. Other small details in the design are stuff that tie back to the Carhartt aesthetic, like a tongue patch logo crafted up using coated tarp-like material (i.e. coverings for long-distance trucks), and a heel tag that’s supposed to resemble a D-ring hardware hanging. See? It’s all in the detailing!

Expect the Carhartt WIP x Converse One Star Collection to arrive this Thursday (September 20) at select retailers, the Converse web store and Carhartt-WIP.com. See more looks of all three colorways below:
