Back in the spring fans saw Thanos wreck Iron Man, Captain America, Spider-Man and the rest of our favorite Marvel heroes. He also got rid of half the world with the snap of his fingers but not before Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) was able to call in reinforcements in Captain Marvel.
Captain Marvel is the 21st film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and stars Brie Larson in what appears to be an origins story providing context to the hero that may be able to come to thrash Thanos in Avengers 4.

The trailer was revealed during a visit to Good Morning America. Captain Marvel also stars Ben Mendelsohn, Samuel L. Gemma Chan and Jude Law.
