To help launch the latest NBA “This Is Why We Play” ad, the fourth installment in the global campaign, Scott and a sea of familiar faces step in for the new 2018-19 Tip-Off video “HOPES.” Along with the platinum-selling MC — we’ll go out on a limb and assume he’s a Rockets fan — former NBA star and current on-air broadcaster Kenny Smith, social media influencer & sports analyst Famous Los, and even your family dentist are all joining in to let us know what they’re hoping to see when the first ball hits the paint.
Watch the new “HOPES” commercial above, and set your watch to catch the 2018-19 season opening game between the 76ers and Celtics on Tuesday, Oct. 16 on TNT beginning at 8 PM ET. The Thunder vs. Warriors game starts right after at 10:30 PM ET.
