Kanye West and his son, Saint, both threw the first pitch at the Chicago White Sox- Chicago Cubs game on Sunday.
With Saint on his shoulders, Ye walked out of the White Sox’s bullpen sporting a black White Sox Jersey, while “Homecoming” blasted through the stadium’s speakers. The father-son duo was matching, but Saint’s jersey had his last name and a number one on the back. He did the honors by stepping up on the mound to throw the pitch first. Then Kanye followed.
Nostalgia roamed the stadium as Kanye shared posted a throwback picture of throwing the first picture with his deceased mother, Donda West.
Since he announced his move back to Chicago, Yeezy has been busy working on a number of projects. His upcoming album, Yandhi is set to release on Saturday, Sept. 29. On the same day, he will be the musical guest for Saturday Night Live’s seasonal debut as well. Ye made Youtube history with the release of the Lil Pump assisted “I Love It.” The song debuted at number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 Charts.
In addition, he is working on a joint album with frequent collaborator, Chance The Rapper entitled, Good Ass Job. The DONDA CEO has also teased Watch The Throne 2 a number of times. He recently posted a picture of The Carter, with Beyonce rocking her Yeezy Season 5 heels. One would assume Kanye sent them over. Although Jay-Z has not confirmed the Throne sequel, it could be well in the works; or the “Big Brother” artist could be speaking the collaboration into existence.
