Maroon 5 was announced to headline the Super Bowl LIII halftime show and received a not so favorable response by various pockets of the Internet music community. Many thought that Maroon 5 taking the stage would mean that Cardi B would join them for “Girls Like You,” the single just became the number one track on the Billboard Hot 100. However, Cardi B wants her own set during the biggest sporting event of the year.
TMZ reports Cardi is currently negotiating on her appearance for the Super Bowl but the only hold up is if Cardi B gets her own slot. Cardi is reportedly a hot commodity for the month of February and is looking out for the maximum exposure for herself.
