50 Cent has patched it up with some foes, Rick Ross has done so as well. But don’t ever expect the two bosses to be cool. Their beef has been on wax but also in court as 50 sued Rozay over the use of his “In Da Club” beat back on the 2015 Renzel Remixes project. Ross continues to prove he is one who is Teflon to the moves by 50 as the case has been dismissed by a federal judge.
TMZ reports that 50 sued Ross stating he had no rights to the instrumental. In actuality, neither does 50, as the copyright and masters belong to Shady/Aftermath rendering the suit void.
This isn’t the first time that Rozay and 50 beef has reached the courtroom. In 2015 50 had to drop $7 million in a judgment to the mother of Rozay’s child for leaking her sex tape online.
The two are back to business as usual with Ross promoting Meek Mill’s new magazine covers and 50 Cent posting a chess piece in a series of posts with his Instagram return. Could he be plotting more?
