It is a wrap for Captain America. Chris Evans the actor who has acted as one of the leaders of the superhero group The Avengers announced the end of his time playing the star on Twitter.
Evans was on hand for the last pieces of filming for Avengers 4, which is currently untitled, and sent out a tweet as he finished the role that he has played for eight years.
“Officially wrapped on Avengers 4. It was an emotional day to say the least,” Evans wrote. “Playing this role over the last 8 years has been an honor. To everyone in front of the camera, behind the camera, and in the audience, thank you for the memories! Eternally grateful.”
Avengers 4 will be the second release of the 2019 Marvel Cinematic Universe schedule, following Captain Marvel. The tweet from the original Captain America leaves questions for fans, is Evans just done or is Cap going to die in the next Avengers film.
