After rumors started circulating that designer John Elliott would be collaborating on some footwear with Nike this year, following the M2K Tekno “Techno Future” popping up in his RTW Fall 2018 show back in February, the Cali-based creative is actually adding truth to the talk with a new take on the ever-iconic Air Force 1 Low.
While you can’t do too much to interrupt the crisp steez of the AF1, Elliott does something super experimental by adding a “double tongue” to the silhouette. The lace keeper also utilizes the two-take effect, in addition to a tumbled leather Swoosh that has an inverted construction, platinum aglets for added premium appeal and an insole design that features abstract designs to really make these a thing of beauty for any sneakerhead to appreciate.
