The much-discussed Kanye West and Donald Trump meeting that was set to go down today (Oct. 11) just got a little bigger. Ye will be with the Commander in Chief in the White House as he will sign the Music Modernization Act. Billboard reports the signing is set for 11:45 a.m. and will also be attended by the CEO and President of the Recording Academy Neil Portnow and Recording Industry Association of America President Mitch Glazier.

Kanye’s meeting was originally supposed to be with Trump and his son-in-law Jared Kushner but will now feature the viewing of signing the legislation.

The Music Modernization Act (MMA) According to Billboard the Music Modernization Act is created by entities throughout the music industry to ensure a mechanical license and system for publishing rates. It will also push forward royalties for tracks made pre-1972. The MMA was already passed unanimously by both the Senate and House of Representatives.
