OutKast’s Big Boi will be one of the most famous fathers hanging around college football stadiums next season. The proud papa is celebrating his son, Cross Patton, committing to the University of Oregon.
“I just want to thank my family: mom and my dad, coach Davis, my football team, with that being said, I want to announce that I committed to the University of Oregon,” Patton shared at a ceremony in Georgia.
Patton had offers from Virginia Tech and other universities, however, he chose the Ducks as a walk on.
Cross will be joining a Pac-12 team that is known for a high powered offense. The Ducks are currently ranked #19 in the nation and are looking to improve their position prior to Bowl season.
