Don Cheadle is set for a return to the Showtime network in a new series title Black Monday. Cheadle will star alongside Regina Hall. The series will tell the story of the biggest crash in the history of Wall Street.
Black Monday occurred on October 19, 1987, and will detail the roots of the historic decline on that day.
The trailer shows Cheadle, Maurice Monroe, a hot-shot broker who is working through the crash and was known as the head of the “L.A. Raiders of corporate raiders.” Regina Hall will take on the role of Dawn Darcy, the first female head trader during the time.

Black Monday brings in Seth Rogan as a producer and will premiere in January of 2019.
