Possibly the biggest story of the NBA Season so far was the blow-up between Kevin Durant and Draymond Green. The argument resulted in a suspension for Draymond after the words during the game carried over to an explosive locker room. A report from Yahoo Sports now let us know what forced Green to sit-out a game.
After the game, the report states Green repeatedly referred to Durant as a “bitch,” specifically saying to him “You’re a bitch and you know you’re a bitch.” The report also states Green even suggested that he leaves the Warriors in the offseason, aligning with the reports saying that is Durant’s intention.
“We don’t need you. We won without you. Leave,” was the reported message from Green.
Before Thursday night’s loss to the Rockets, Green addressed reports but never directly apologized for what happened between him and Durant.

After the game, he stated: “If those emotions are what caused us to lose [Thursday night], then my bad.”
Durant was asked about the state of the relationship between him and Green before the game, which he replied: “don’t ask me about that again.”
Who knew the champs would be the soap opera of this season?
