Actress and model, Kim Porter, who was also the longtime girlfriend of Diddy and the mother of three of his children, was found dead in her Los Angeles home on November 15th. TMZ reports that Porter was experiencing “flu-like” symptoms, but her cause of death is still under investigation.
Amid her death, there was an outpour of condolences on social media, but Diddy and his children have been silent until now.
“For the last three days I’ve been trying to wake up out of this nightmare,” Diddy wrote on Instagram. “But I haven’t. I don’t know what I’m going to do without you baby. I miss you so much. Today I’m going to pay tribute to you. I’m going to try and find the words to explain our unexplainable relationship. We were more than best friends, we were more than soulmates. WE WERE ON SOME OTHER SHITT!! And I miss you so much.”
He posted a series of photos and videos to his Instagram story and feed in honor of Porter. It’s clear that the mogul is devastated by her untimely passing, as they were together on-and-off between 1994 and 2007. He was seen reunited with his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura after rumors recently reported that the couple split in September.
Her son with Al B Sure, Quincy finally spoke on his mother’s death. “You were way too good for this silly world we live in.”
Justin Combs also shared a heartfelt message for his “second mother.”
