Fresh off a southwest-inspired collaboration with J. Crew, New Balance is keeping the sneaker momentum going by releasing a new selection of kicks with help from KITH.
Ronnie Fieg builds on his longstanding relationship with New Balance by dropping six new sneaker colorways inspired by his personal faves out the NB vault. Taking cues and collaborative tips from the United Arrows & Sons 997.5 and the nonnative 997.5, the new offerings include the 997 OG, 997S, and 997S Fusion silhouettes decked out in two distinct color palettes. The first side utilizes a grey, black, purple, pink and cream combo — nods to the OG United Arrows & Sons design — meanwhile the other three pay respect to nonnative with a brown, black and cobalt blue mix. Suede, mesh, ostrich-embossed leather and even pony hair are some of the key materials seen in the sneaker construction, and the triple stacked “N” featured on each shoe is a true seal of approval for the true New Balance lovers out there. Even better, a small capsule of matching sportswear apparel (seen above) will be included as well.
