Carhartt WIP did major justice with its collaboration alongside Converse, and they’re keeping it in the Swoosh family with a new workwear-inspired Air Force 1.

At first glance, we can’t but but notice — and salute! — Carhartt WIP for basically making a footwear version of its iconic corduroy-collared Michigan Jacket. On this iteration, the rugged brown collar is transferred to the AF1’s lateral heel. The rest is comprised of a super sturdy tan duck canvas upper, striped laces to interrupted the monotone color-blocking, and an exaggerated heel pull tab that incorporates a cleverly-placed button snap closure. The wool lining only makes us want to wear these even more — cozy boy swag on another level!
