“I believe that the charges against him is an over-charge by the U.S. Attorney’s Office and that when the facts come out I am confident that the charges will be dismissed as it relates to Daniel Hernandez,” 6ix9ine’s lawyer, Lance  Lazarro stated.

The Brooklyn lawyer also denied the “Stoopid” rapper’s involvement in a shooting and armed robbery back in April. In one of the instances, Lazarro claims the controversial rapper was not in New York.

“I don’t believe that (6ix9ine) participated in any of the three instances that they’re referring to. (He was) not even in the state of New York for the July 16 incident. And you can’t be guilty of a crime if you’re not present,” he added.

We’ll continue to monitor the case as we receive more information. The “Gummo” rapper was recently moved to general as opposed to being protected due to his celebrity status.
