Creed II star Michael B. Jordan did everything he could to get in fighting shape for the movie. Many speculate that he took his training seriously and wondering if would ever consider getting in a boxing ring? After meeting up with Jordan outside of a nightclub on Saturday night, TMZ Sports asked if there were any real boxers the actor could beat, and he was quick to respond with “Roy Jones Jr.”
No doubt, TMZ has since caught up with Jones Jr. to get his take on the matter, and he seems more than willing to make it happen for real.
“I ain’t running from nobody,” Jones Jr. said.”If Michael B. wants this for real, contact Roy Jones Jr., and we will make it happen … I would need about four or five weeks to get ready.”
In 75 career fights, Jones Jr boasts a 66-9 record, including 47 KOs. He most recently fought in February of this year, when he defeated Scott Sigmon via unanimous decision.
No one can never accuse Pensacola native Roy Jones Jr. of backing down from a fight — real or imagined.
