These bloody shoes are now walking out the door as Cardi B and Offset call it splits according to a recent post on Cardi B’s Instagram. Cardi’s most recent post is a video of her explaining how she feels with the caption: “There you go.. peace and love.”
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper goes on by saying “So everybody been bugging me and everything. And you know, I been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute now. We’re really good friends and you know we’re really good business partners… He’s always somebody that I run to, to talk to and we got a lot of love for each other but things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time.
“It’s nobodies fault it’s just like I guess we grew out of love. But, we’re not together anymore. It might take time to get a divorce. I’m always going to have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter’s father.”
Clearly, the breakup seems mutual and there is little doubt that the former couple won’t remain close especially considering they have their child Kulture together, but I got to say I thought this was going to be a couple in Hip-Hop that was built to last.
