Cardi B is not going to allow the breakup blues steal a weekend of glamorous partying with her famed fellows in entertainment. On Wednesday night, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper was spotted at club E11EVEN in Miami rocking rainbow colored hair and a bodycon black dress turning up for Miami’s Art Basel weekend, PEOPLE reports.
The Bardi sighting occurred less than 24 hours after the Bronx rap sensation announced that she and her husband of one year, Offset of Migos have officially separated. According to PEOPLE, Cardi was not wearing the $500,000 eight carat tear shaped engagement ring she was known to wear consistently during her relationship with Offset. A party attendee told PEOPLE that the Invasion of Privacy artist did not appear to be her usual “energetic” self and while a performance was anticipated, she instead lip-synced to her songs as they played. The attendee alleges she looked “sad” throughout the event and was fighting her probable true state of heartache.
“She wasn’t singing or anything,” the party attendee told PEOPLE. “You could tell she wasn’t her usual energetic self. It’s like she was trying to put on a good face but she looked sad.”
A newly surfaced video shows the Bronx rapper dancing alongside Teyana Taylor and Bad Bunny, appearing to have a genuinely good time. She even went on to grab the mic make a play request, which was the tunes of Bobby Shmurda, whom she often credits for being responsible for her internet come up.
Cardi B announced her split from Offset in an Instagram video on Wednesday (Dec. 5) saying they “grew out of love” and testified her numerous attempts at saving the marriage. Just four months ago, she gave birth to their only child together, baby girl Kulture Kiari. Hours after the announcement, Cardi released the first official photo of her daughter to the public.
