Kodak Black is gradually raking in W’s as the year comes to an end. Drake reached out to the Florida rapper to let him know that his latest effort, Dying To Live, is one of his favorite projects in the last five years.
Black posted the text messages on Instagram.
In the conversation, Drizzy says that the “ZEZE” rapper has a pure purpose. “Your purpose is so pure,” Drake wrote. “What got you there? Like you are almost talking from this god level birds eye view (sic) of your own life. I wanna know how you broke that wall.” Kodak shared the praise and thanked Drake for being “down to earth.”
The press run for Kodak Black’s second studio album was overshadowed by the ordeal at Hot 97 with Ebro when the radio personality asked him about his sexual assault case. However, he had a lighter interview with The Breakfast Club, and now with this Drake co-sign, Kodak has a couple things to be happy about.
