Flipp Dinero is the star of the latest episode of Up in the Source. The We the Best rapper is one of the breakout artists of 2018 behind his massive hit “Leave Me Alone,” and rocking stages across the country as a part of various tours.
During his sit down, Dinero discusses being of Haitian descent and the household he was raised in, which his mother did not originally want him listening to rap. Beyond his early years, Dinero details his favorite rappers, producers and how he got his start with creating his own music.
In detailing his biggest hit to date, “Leave Me Alone,” Flipp Dinero reveals the song was sitting in a stash for a couple months and in fact, was created due to a woman who he wished would do what the song is titled.
Flipp also details how the demand for music is still high and how he works with DJ Khaled and his label to ensure that he serves new tunes to his fans.
