NBA megastar LeBron James is still the King on the court. But he as other crowns that he’s going after. Ever since his arrival in L.A after singing as a free agent with Lakers, LeBron has been taking Hollywood by storm. On Friday (December 21) LeBron along with his business Maverick Carter, will release the latest episode of their HBO series The Shop.
According to HBO, “The Shop gives viewers a one-of-a-kind barbershop experience, which for many provides a sanctuary for free-flowing and spirited discussions. The series will visit barbershops around the country to gather distinguished individuals who can speak honestly on sports, music, pop culture, world events, business and other culturally relevant topics.”
LeBron on The Shop is showing the world what really goes down at the Black barbershop. The conversations are raw and authentic over many glasses of wine. You may even get a confession from one of the music industry’s biggest stars.
Episode three is full of some of the most prominent names in sports and entertainment. The episode features R&B icon Mary J. Blige, LeBron’s former Miami Heat teammate Chris Bosh, writer and film director Lena Waithe, legendary MC’s Nas and Ice Cube, late-night host Jimmy Kimmel, and NFL stud Todd Gurley. In fact, Jimmy Kimmel decided to sit in the chair in get a cut.
The latest episode is sure to broach a variety of topics with such a diverse and eclectic group of guests.
