Life is never easy, and Mexico Baby understands that more than anything. After finding himself in a bit of trouble, he fell back on his love for music to overcome the obstacles in front of him. “When I was in jail, I would write a lot. It distracted me in a good way. I love Michael Jackson, and he’s a huge inspiration to me. I just focused on my music, and my writing specifically, and it got me through it all,” said the artist. Much like his overall aesthetic, Mexico doesn’t fit into one box from a musical perspective. He can sing, and he can rap even better- he’s basically a jack of all trades.
Mexico Baby has some exciting news to share with fans. The artist will be releasing an upcoming EP, which will be coming out on mom’s birthday on February 20th. The self-titled EP will be showcasing his overall brand so that fans can get to know a whole other side of him. “It’s about the life of a 229 type guy. It’s the story of who I am,” said the artist.
