It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Popcaan will now be down with Drake’s OVO label. Drizzy shared the news at the Unruly Fest last weekend, where he appeared as a surprise performer alongside Tory Lanez.
Champagne Papi made the announcement and performed a slew of hits including his hit single, “Controlla” which has a version that features the international artist.
“This is something we’ve worked on for a very long time,” he told the audience. “I just wanna let everybody know, finally. Officially, 2019 Popcaan is signed to OVO.”
The crowd erupted as soon as Drake dropped the bomb.

Popcaan will be joining the roster with the likes of PartyNextDoor, Majid Jordan, Roy Woods, dvsn, as well as in-house producers Boi-1da and 40.
