2018 has been a banner year for Meek Mill and many will point to the Philly rapper and state this was the best year of his career. After a release from prison, Meek hit the ground running speaking on issues with incarceration, releasing more hit music and cultivating in being named the Man of the Year by BET.

“Who Meek Mill is today is the best version of himself with more sky to climb,” BET details. They also cite his transition from a rough 2017 that was hindered by break-ups and legal issues to the triumph of 2018, specifically the stellar album that took over the top of the charts and is heralded by many as one of the best Hip-Hop records this year.
