KITH is taking its Monday Program, which gave us a dope Tommy Hilfiger x Timberland collab last week, in a new movie-themed direction, starting with a small capsule offering in tribute to the 1993 film Poetic Justice starring dearly missed rap legend Tupac Shakur.
Similar to the way Extra Butter NY releases its special sneaker drops, the Monday Movie Program™ will be dedicated to the films that’ve shaped how KITH tells its style stories according to Ronnie Fieg via Instagram (seen above) — it makes perfect sense given those past lookbooks modeled by Wood Harris (Paid In Full), Ray Liotta (Goodfellas) and Chazz Palminteri (A Bronx Tale), respectively. These drops in particular will be in official collaboration with Columbia Pictures, which means we could possible see collections in tribute to films like Bad Boys, which will become a trilogy as Bad Boys For Lif3 is currently filming, Ghostbusters, White Chicks, all the recent 007 films and even Bad Santa for when we get closer to the Holiday 2019 season. The capsule is pretty small in terms of what’s offered, this time including just a T-shirt, crewneck and the brand’s signature Williams Hoodie decked out with reminagined “KITH -branded” movie poster motifs, but only time will tell what will be included in future drops.
