Travis Scott is defiantly a celebrity that is always putting on for his city. After hosting the Astroworld Fest at NRG Park last year, which about 40,000 fans attended, the Houston native is putting on for his city yet again. The “SICKO MODE” rapper donated $100,000 to Workshop Houston, a non-profit and after-school program in Third Ward.

According to The Houston Chronicle, Workshop Houston was a participant in Scott’s Astroworld festival last year along with several other nonprofits. Some of Scott’s donations will go to programs including one which local students recreate former First Lady Michelle Obama’s Milly gown, which was portrayed in her official White House portrait. Workshop Hoston offers creative, technical, and educational resources for the youth.
