Whether you believe that Soulja Boy had the biggest comeback of 2018 or not, he is definitely the favorite through the first month of this year. The Soulja train is continuing forward with the announcement of a new deal with Warner/Chappell.
Soulja shared the news on Instagram as he put the pen to the paper with bottles of champagne on the table. “It’s official I’m not signed to Warner/Chappell I’m the hottest rapper in the game facts,” he wrote.
Since his now storied appearance on The Breakfast Club, Soulja Boy has been seen some of everywhere. He verbally sparred, and won, with DJ Akademiks on Everyday Struggle and has teased to be heavy at work in the studio when he is not pushing his entrepreneur endeavors.
Big Drako stated that he has an album on the way on July 28, titled How Could You Blame Me? and recently let off the video via his Instagram.
If you are looking to catch Soulja Boy perform he is on the line-up for the fifth anniversary of the Rolling Loud festival, pairing him alongside headliners Travis Scott, Migos and Kid Cudi.
The terms of Soulja’s new deal have not been revealed.
