We initially got an early preview last summer of the adidas x Game of Thrones collection, but around that time it was just a rumor supported by two colorway options that were originally considered to be mock-ups. Today, the official images for the whole set were finally unveiled and it looks like the early renditions weren’t off at all!
With just two more months until the final season of Game Of Thrones starts airing on HBO, the timing of this drop is pretty much right on schedule. While the UltraBOOST itself is an impressive silhouette on its own, the real eye-grabber here is definitely centered around the colorways — each iteration represents a specific group battling for the throne in Season 8. You’ve got “House Lannister” (seen above) and “House Stark,” which were the originally leaked colorways we saw back in July, in addition to the crisp white “House Targaryen,” one designed with a lava-esque toe box to represent the “Targaryen’s Dragons,” an icy blue “White Walkers” iteration and one for the trusted “Night’s Watch” that combines black like their armor with the snow white grounds they live on and protect. All six feature Thrones-branded insoles and heel tabs that identify each house and also feature a coinciding tagline. As if anticipation for the finale of GoT wasn’t enough, these just add even more reason to get amped for the big fight.
Expect the Game of Thrones x adidas UltraBOOST collection to arrive in April, just in time for the April 14 premiere of the hit series’ final season. Take a look at every colorway below:
