Tiffany Haddish continues to give us the inside scoop.
The “Night School” actress recently told Glamour that Drake and his dad, Dennis Graham, slid in her DMs. Drake sole purpose of sliding was to ask Tiffany to be in his music video. Haddish made a cameo in the chart-topping, “Nice For What” last year. When Haddish saw Drake in person a few days later, she asked Drake to take her to dinner.
“So, I did his music video and I thought, ‘oh maybe something might happen, you know!’ I was like, ‘are you gonna take me to dinner?’ He said, ‘yeah we could eat dinner,’ and then I never heard from him again.”
Haddish thought her approach was a sign of “being thirsty” and regrets it. Instead, she felt a more subtle approach would have worked in her favor.
” I should have said, ‘I’ll see if I can be in your music video. What are you looking at? Are you trying to hang out with me?”
It seems like the Grahams have a thing for sliding in Tiffany’s DMs because she was approached by the elder, Dennis Graham.
“His dad hit me up though and I turned his dad down. I’m not being Drake’s step momma!”
Haddish also mentioned that she’s working on an album as well. She gave a number of potential titles for the project.
“It will probably be the ‘She Ready’ album or ‘The She Ready Experience’ or ‘The We Ready Album.’ Whatever, it’s going to be ready.”
She hopes to score a Cardi B feature before the completion of the project.
