Skate-inspired streetwear brand HUF killed it earlier this year with a dope Starter collab starring Young Dirty Bastard, and now the latest lookbook released for Spring 2019 is all about the city that inspired it all.
Although founder Keith Hufnagel launched the first shop in San Francisco back in the early ’90s, it was his history of skating in the gritty streets of New York City that birthed his love for the culture overall. He now returns to the Big Apple to show off the latest HUF collection, with each piece embodying some sort of NYC inspo in every stitch. Outwear and hoodies along with tracksuits and tees are all included in the mix, with some incorporating motifs that even pay tribute to classic newspaper publications synonymous with the metropolitan area. For a proper footwear offering, the brand’s Galaxy sneaker is offered in a few colorway options, in addition to slides and a classic all-white iteration of the Hupper 2 Hi Deconstructed silhouette. Balanced out with a line of accessories as well, the new digs by HUF make for the perfect tribute to one of the greatest cities in the world.
